A fusion of performance, kiting, and sculpture. The panels off the side of this dress extend 60 feet and are strung onto (2) 8 foot delta kites by means of mylar funnels with grommets. The funnels act like small kites, cupping the wind and lifting the veils upward as the deltas gain the sky. The veils create wind sculpture, defy gravity, and extend the reach of the grounded one. Hand-turned cherry hoop spools and steam-bent crash helmet complete the avatar.
